- I just tried the US Robotics web page for the first time: I was
- lookng for specific product info on the sporster modems. This is a
- tricky company. I was not able to get the information from this
- company telling me what their current product is, how it's different
- from the others they have offered recently, what features are new,
- how they work, why I should buy it......What's going on with these
- folk? Is it the old "computer game" of release new products with
- updated features but don't give out sufficient information to allow
- the buyers to make an educated purchase decision? Sounds like Intel,
- with their new motherboards and chips and price reductions: very
- poorly documented until way after the fact. I guess it's the way of
- these large corporations to not give info except to other companies
- that buy in a large enough volume and to hell with individual
- customers. Time for some karma, baby. TS
